What personal data we collect and why we collect them
If you write a comment on our website, you can choose to store your name, email address and domain in cookies. This is for your convenience, so you do not have to provide your information again the next time you write a comment. We store these cookies for one year.
If you have an account and you log onto this website, we will set up a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie does not contain any personal data and will disappear when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set up a series of cookies to save your login information and your display choices. Login cookies are stored for two days and display choice cookies are stored for one year. If you mark “Remember me”, your login will be stored for two weeks. If you log out of your account, your login cookies will be deleted.
If you edit or publish an article, another cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply contains the submission ID for the article you have just edited. It will expire after one day.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this website may contain embedded content (such as videos, images, articles etc.). Embedded content from another website behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor accessed the content directly via that website.
How long does IntraMed store my data?_
If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata will be stored indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of maintaining a moderation queue.
For users who create accounts on our website (if any), we also save the personal data they submit for their user profile. All users can see, edit or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their user name). The website administrators can also see and edit this information.
What rights do I have to my data?
If you have an account on this website, or have written comments, you can request an export file containing the personal data we store about you, including all the data you have shared with us. You can also ask us to delete all the personal data we have about you. This does not include any type of data we are obliged to store for administrative, legal or security reasons.
Where does IntraMed send my data?
Visitor comments may be monitored by an automatic spam-recognition service.
