CSO / Diabetes

A complete, structured record system for diabetes care

CSO/Diabetes – also known as DiabetesRask – gives unique insight into each patient pathway and into the department’s overall quality of care, while minimising the time spent reporting mandatory data to the Danish Adult Diabetes Database (DVDD) and DiaBase.

About the module

One system for all of diabetes care

With CSO/Diabetes you get a system that covers every need in registering and following up on diabetes care. A simpler version, mainly covering registration and reporting to DVDD, is also available.

CSO/Diabetes integrates with other health IT systems such as FMK, EHR, laboratory and patient administration systems, and fits naturally into the department’s workflow.

Patients can be connected from home. They can see their up-to-date information in CSO-online or submit values such as blood glucose, weight and blood pressure. Patient access includes secure messaging with the department and works on PC, tablet and smartphone.

Two set-ups

Full diabetes record or simple RKKP registration

Complete diabetes record

In this set-up, used by most, all relevant information about the patient’s diabetes is registered. Continuous registration builds a large clinical database for the department’s patients.

All the patient’s diabetes data is in one place, with a quick overview of treatment, goals and history. After the visit, the patient can receive a printout of recent visits, results and medication.

Users can generate their own reports on all registered treatment information and combinations of it – for overview, quality assurance or research.

RKKP registration

In the simple version, only the data to be reported to DVDD is registered for each patient.

The latest registered value is remembered, so only changes need to be registered at each visit. Results and medication can be imported automatically, saving further time.

You still get an overview of patient pathways and DVDD indicator fulfilment at both individual and population level.
